Northern Light Pediatric Primary Care in Bangor, Maine seeks an additional board-certified/board eligible pediatrician to join our thriving hospital-employed practice. Ours is an NCQA-recognized level III Patient-Centered Medical Home located in a modern facility that is a short drive from the hospital. The practice is outpatient-focused with hospital rounding in the newborn nursery, with no c-sections or circumcisions required. Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center is the regional center for advanced pediatric care. Hospital services include a Level III NICU, PICU, mature pediatric sedation program, dedicated neonatal and pediatric critical care transport, and an inpatient pediatric hospitalist service. A broad spectrum of pediatric sub-specialists is available, including gastroenterology, neurology, cardiology, hospital medicine, endocrinology, genetics, developmental/behavioral psychology, hematology-oncology, surgery, and infectious disease. Some sub-specialists practice in the same building as our primary care clinic, making for seamless consultation.
