Rheumatologist Faculty - Norfolk, VA
Eastern Virginia Medical School (EVMS) is seeking a Rheumatologist as an Assistant or Associate Professor. The candidate will participate in the clinical and educational activities of the Internal Medicine Department. Position is primarily clinical and based in Norfolk, Virginia. Faculty member will participate in the education and training of fellows, residents and medical students in inpatient and outpatient settings. EVMS is known for excellence in passionate teaching and clinical medicine.
We are seeking a highly qualified individual who is board-certified or board-eligible and have completed an ACGME certified residency program in Internal Medicine and Fellowship in Rheumatology. Virginia Medical license and DEA are required. The successful candidate will have the interest, desire and commitment to building a strong clinical program with educational emphasis. The position includes a faculty appointment, teaching opportunities and a competitive salary and benefits package. Mentorship and support will be available to excel in all areas of academic medicine.
