Associate Hospital Epidemiologist and Infectious Diseases BC/BE physician

The Division of Infectious Diseases, Department of Medicine, at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) is seeking a full-time Associate Hospital Epidemiologist and Infectious Diseases BC/BE physician. The hospital is located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, a city which continues to rank high as one of the most “livable cities” in the United States. At 75% effort in hospital epidemiology (25% clinical), there will be abundant time to partner with a large Infection Prevention & Control team at UPMC Presbyterian/Shadyside, among a vibrant and collaborative IP&C community throughout the UPMC healthcare system. Investigations include continuous quality improvement and research in an innovative patient-oriented data-rich organization; the position is central to a thriving educational enterprise for trainees in Infectious Diseases, Public Health, Medicine and Infection Prevention.
