The Henry Ford Health System Division of Rheumatology, within the Henry Ford Medical Group, is seeking a Board Certified/Eligible Rheumatologist as a Senior Staff Physician to join our clinical and research programs. This is one of the nation’s leading comprehensive health systems, providing acute, primary, and preventive care services. The division is backed by excellence in research and education and a collaborative practice with the other specialties of the 1,900 physician Henry Ford Medical Group.
The Department of Rheumatology, one of the largest rheumatology practices in Michigan, has seven faculty physicians providing inpatient and outpatient services throughout southeastern Michigan, one advanced practice provider, and two full-time research staff that participate in government-funded, industry-sponsored, and investigator-initiated clinical research in Rheumatoid arthritis, IgG-4 Related disease, lupus and vasculitis. Henry Ford Medical Group Division of Rheumatology provides an excellent Rheumatology fellowship training programs, with four fellows per year.
The Rheumatology practice completes over 10,000 outpatient visits annually across four outpatient medical centers and infusion centers in metro Detroit. Offering a Musculoskeletal ultrasound Clinic that uses real-time images taken without radiation. In addition, there are specialized clinic including Lupus/vasculitis clinic, IgG-4 related disease clinic, Rheumatology-dermatology combine clinic, psoriasis/psoriatic arthritis clinic and ILD-Rheumatology clinic within the division which provides excellent and unique care for patients.
