Physician - Colorectal Surgeon

Arnot Health, located in the Finger Lakes Region of Upstate New York, has initiated the search for a board-certified / board-eligible Colorectal Surgeon to join our multi-specialty group of 210+ providers. Fellowship training in Colorectal Surgery is preferred. The successful candidate will collaborate and partner with the other 3 currently employed General Surgeons.

Arnot Health has a large group of primary care providers in many regional locations referring to and contributing to the expansion of our Surgery service line. This developing, physician-centric program is anticipated to meet the needs of our 300,000+ patient referral base. The candidate should possess excellent clinical skills including robotic, laparoscopic and endoscopic techniques. Arnot just purchased and took possession of a new XI da Vinci Robot.

Arnot has an ACGME certified General Surgery Residency program with 3 categorical residents per year. Teaching will be an important part of the role. Our other ACGME certified training programs include Residencies in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Psychiatry, Radiology, Emergency Medicine and Fellowships in Endocrinology & Gastroenterology. In addition, Arnot welcomed the first class of Medical students in Summer 2020 to the brand new LECOM Medical School in Elmira and will soon have the second year joining the Elmira campus.

On the Arnot campus is a shared Cancer Center staffed by the University of Rochester Medical Center providing both Chemotherapy and Radiation Therapy.
