Medical Weight Management Opportunity Southeastern Massachusetts less than 30 minutes from Providence, Rhode Island and less than 1-hour from Boston, Massachusetts

We are focused on recruiting an American Board of Obesity Medicine certified IM, IM/Peds, or FM trained physician for a thriving Medical Weight Management program within an established Bariatric Surgery department to treat patients with BMI over 27.

Position Highlights:

• Exceptional opportunity to join a group of 2 Physicians & 2 Advanced Practice Practitioners
• Completion of US Residency & Fellowship
• Board certified or board eligible in Obesity Medicine / IM/ IM-Peds or FM required
• Must be comfortable with prescribing anti-obesity medication
• Must be familiar with therapeutic carbohydrate reduced nutrition plans
• Must be able to work with NP/PA to develop individualized, comprehensive weight management plans
• Must be comfortable with referring appropriate patients to a Bariatric surgeon
• Malpractice coverage of $2M / $6M
