Job Summary:

Portsmouth Regional Hospital is seeking a fellowship-trained Comprehensive Cardiologist to join a well-established and highly respected practice for the medical community of Portsmouth Regional Hospital in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.  

About the Opportunity:

• Experienced comprehensive cardiologist preferred, but new fellows are encouraged to apply
• Program development is a key focus
• Participation with family medicine and internal medicine residency program
• Call structure is 1:7

Qualified Candidates:

• Completion of an accredited residency program in cardiology with board certification required after training
• Advanced Cardiac Imaging fellowship/training preferred
• Licensed to practice in New Hampshire or ability to obtain
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

About Portsmouth Regional Hospital:

• 220-bed acute care facility with a Level II trauma center
• 24/7 full-service ER with 2 freestanding ERs
• 24/7 dedicated inpatient hospitalist and intensivist programs
• 30-bed inpatient psychiatric unit, including 16 involuntary beds
• Home to PRH Family Medicine, Internal Medicine and Psychiatry Residency Programs. Academic affiliation is with Tufts University School of Medicine.
