Job Details
SSM Health Dean Medical group, a 500+ physician multi-specialty group, is actively recruiting a fellowship trained Minimally Invasive Surgeon for an opportunity focused on bariatrics. Surgeon will join a busy multi-specialty general surgery practice. The practice currently employs two colorectal surgeons, one endocrine surgeon, one minimally invasive surgeon and three general surgeons.
The Opportunity
- Reasonable call schedule of 1/8 general surgery call, with no trauma call.
- The full time position is expected to have a four to five-day work week which is split between the main operating room, the outpatient surgery center, the endoscopy center, and clinic time.
- The surgeon will primarily work with a group of 10 advanced practitioners but is also expected to participate in teaching when University of Wisconsin general surgery residents and the surgical oncology fellow rotate to SSM Health St Mary's hospital.
- Epic EMR for both hospital and clinic.
