General Orthopedic Surgeon Needed in Southwest Dallas

Methodist Medical Group (MMG) has an immediate need for an experienced, Board Certified orthopedic surgeon with 3+ years post graduate experience. Scope of practice will include the full spectrum of elective general orthopedics including joint reconstruction work. Ideal candidate will be comfortable operating autonomously with PA support. Additional work will be generated from taking call in our busy level 3 Trauma Center. There is enormous potential to build a thriving practice in this community including the assumption of a well-established patient panel. Incoming orthopedist will be based at Methodist Charlton Medical Center and supported by three additional employed orthopedists. Candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills and be willing to market themselves in this community. Methodist Charlton Medical Center, a trusted healthcare provider and teaching hospital for the people of Southern Dallas County, is a 314 bed, modern teaching and community hospital. The facility has a state-of-the-art surgical suite with seven operating rooms and a new and expanded ED slated to open Fall of 2022. The Joint Commission has named Methodist Charlton one of the nation s top performers on key quality measures. Incoming physician will be employed by Methodist Medical Group, comprised of over 240 primary care and specialist providers meeting the needs of the patients in the communities we serve.
