Non-Invasive Cardiology Physician - Sioux City, IA

UnityPoint Health is actively recruiting for a Non-invasive Cardiologist to join our Team in Sioux City, IA

• Current providers: 9 Cardiologists total; 1 FT/1PT EP, 2FT/1PT Interventional, 3FT/1PT Non-Invasive and 3 Advanced Practice Providers

• Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on Epic EMR to improve care coordination

Responsibilities

• 12-16 patients/day
• Occasional outreach clinic coverage
• 1 Physician and 1 APP rounding on inpatients each week
• 1:6 call schedule requirement
• Procedures; TEE and Vascular Studies optional, NOT required
• 50% of clinic schedule left open each day to accommodate same-day study add-ons
• Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve
• Provide the best outcome for every patient every time

Qualifications

• Board Certified
• Hold an unrestricted license to practice medicine in Iowa
• Eligible to work in the United States
• Ability to work as a team member
