The Opportunity

This excellent opportunity is for a full time hospitalist in our newest St. Mary's Janesville Hospital. Janesville is conveniently located between Madison, Chicago, and Milwaukee. This position offers a 7 on 7 off schedule rotating schedule. The full time Janesville opportunity consists of 12 hour shifts (primarily day/evening shifts at both locations with minimal night shifts at throughout the year). Guaranteed salary with lucrative compensation schedule including overnight premiums for those minimal overnight shifts throughout the year. Enjoy a 7 on 7 off schedule, premium pay for any overnight shift hours (11 p.m. to 7 am) during the 10-12 overnight shifts expected annually. On average, each Hospitalist will expect to work 150 shifts per year seeing 12-14 patients with 1-2 admissions/discharges per shift. Specialist consults available 24/7.

The Hospital

SSM Dean Medical Group and SSM Health Care of Wisconsin built a new medical clinic and 50-bed hospital. It opened in January 2012. It is a state-of-the-art facility and is located at the intersection of Highways 90 and 11 on the southern outskirts of Janesville. SSM St. Mary's Janesville Hospital has a 24/7 Hospitalist program in place. The hospital is linked to an e-ICU program that is based in St. Louis. SSM St. Mary's Janesville Hospital is part of SSM Health, an integrated health system that has facilities in Wisconsin, Illinois, Missouri, and Oklahoma. St. Mary's Madison has 2 full staffed ICUs by a highly skilled critical care team. St Mary's Madison NICU is staffed with our own Pediatric Hospitalist team.
