Interventional Gastroenterologist

UHS Medical Group is a progressive multi-specialty group with a large primary care base, consisting of over 400 healthcare providers in 30+ medical and surgical specialties in multiple locations. The group is affiliated with United Health Services Hospitals, the regional leader in healthcare. There is a strong market presence in the region and an excellent referral base.

We are recruiting for growth and succession planning and have an excellent opportunity for a BE/BC Gastroenterologist to join six adult and one pediatric gastroenterologist. The group also oversees a GI fellowship, now in its fourth year, with 5 fellows. A busy, well established practice with access to all standard endoscopic equipment as well as capsule endoscopy, ERCP, endoscopic ultrasound, an esophageal manometry lab and an infusion clinic. The ideal candidate will be proficient in interventional endoscopy (EUS required, ERCP / EMR / cyst-gastrostomy preferred), excellent clinical and interpersonal skills and be a team player.

In addition to the GI fellowship, there are also opportunities for teaching residents and medical students, as well as the ability to participate in clinical research. Academic appointment at the Upstate Medical University at Syracuse is also available. Compensation package is a highly-competitive hospital-backed income guarantee and incentive opportunities.
