Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, is recruiting a BC/BE Pulmonary-Critical Care/Sleep Medicine Physician to join an expanding team in the New Orleans and Kenner location.

Candidates must be board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine and Sleep Medicine. Additional board eligibility/board certification in Critical Care Medicine is preferred but not required. Salary offered will be commensurate with experience and training.

Opportunity Details:

  • Practice settings include busy Pulmonary and Sleep clinic.
  • There is the opportunity to develop subspecialty referral practices in asthma, interventional pulmonary, thoracic oncology, pulmonary hypertension, pulmonary fibrosis, and other end stage lung diseases.
  • Section members regularly collaborate with the pulmonary departments at both local medical schools in clinical research, including NIH-funded activities in ARDS and IPF. Faculty appointments are possible for qualified candidates.
  • The position offers flexibility and balance among clinical practice, graduate education, and scholarly activity for applicants based upon individual experience levels.
