Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health is seeking a full-time BC/BE Thoracic Surgeon to join our busy highly skilled practice. Join our comprehensive Thoracic Surgery practice located in Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health s Ann B. Barshinger Cancer Institute in collaboration with a multidisciplinary cancer team. Our Ann B. Barshinger Cancer Institute is a 90,000 square foot state-of-the-art cancer center that provides medical, surgical, radiation, and palliative oncology under one roof. Our Thoracic Surgery providers provide expertise in procedures such as, minimally invasive lung resection, esophageal resections, surgery for gastroesophageal reflux disease and benign esophageal disorders, chest wall resection and reconstruction as well as surgery for mediastinal tumors and myasthenia gravis. Our providers work collaboratively within a highly productive practice with regular connections to Penn Medicine and the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.

  • Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Medicine (Allopathic/Osteopathic)
  • Completion of an accredited General Surgery Residency
  • Completion of an accredited Thoracic Surgery Residency
  • Possess or able to obtain an unrestricted PA Medical License
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible
