Rush University Medical Center

Rush University Medical Center is seeking Internal Medicine and Family Medicine physicians to join our outpatient practices located in the heart of downtown Chicago and across the greater Chicago area. Rush Primary Care Physicians provide care at over 10 clinical sites embedded in various communities in Chicago and its western suburbs. We are constantly expanding our academic, educational, and clinical footprint across the region as we maintain our unyielding commitment to excellence demonstrated by our physicians, advanced practitioners, nurses, and medical staff.

Responsibilities include direct patient care and involvement with teaching medical students and residents. These opportunities provide a path for leadership development and academic growth. The Division of General Internal Medicine at Rush University Medical Center is academically active and growing. There are currently more than 50 full-time faculty members who partake in research and provide education to medical graduates and medical students while maintaining a thriving outpatient clinical practice.

The Department of Family Medicine at Rush is a well-established, diverse group with recognized specialty care relationships and office patterns. The team’s practice provides comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages and stages of health, including prevention, patient education, chronic disease self-management and acute medical care. Physicians share 1:6 after-hours call and inpatient rounding responsibilities, maintain outpatient clinical practice and teach Rush University medical students.

South Loop

Rush’s South Loop clinic, at 1411 S. Michigan Ave., is a multispecialty practice offering primary care services to patient of all ages. The 55,000-square-foot facility features an innovative exam room and workspace layout, full imaging capabilities and a demonstration kitchen, among other features designed to enhance the patient and provider experience.

Rush Oak Park

Rush Oak Park clinic, located on the Rush Oak Park Hospital campus at 610 S Maple Ave. This practice specializes in Internal Medicine and provides personalized care in an intimate environment while benefiting from the expansive Rush network.

Main Campus

Rush’s main campus locations provide primary care services with the opportunity to teach medical students and residents.

Lincoln Park

Rush’s Lincoln Park clinic, at 2835 N. Sheffield Ave., provides primary and specialty care services. The office boasts a neighborhood connection and delivers expert care to meet patient needs, lifestyles and beliefs. The space is ideal for collaborating providers and staff and offers an onsite full-service laboratory.
