Medical Director - Skilled Nursing/Primary Care

Central Vermont Medical Center, a partner in the University of Vermont Health Network, is searching for a Medical Director for our Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. This position will care for patients in our skilled nursing facility as well as carry a panel of primary care patients in an outpatient clinic.

Woodridge Rehabilitation and Nursing is a 153 bed facility caring for long-term, short-term, memory care and rehabilitation patients. The facility is located on campus with Central Vermont Medical Center.

The Medical Director will be the lead clinician in charge of all aspects of medical patient care services at Woodridge. Working collaboratively with an exceptional team of Nurse Practitioners and Administrators, the Medical Director will monitor clinical performance to ensure medical services are in compliance with all applicable regulatory and licensing agencies.

The ideal candidate will be BC in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine or Geriatrics, at least 2 years of experience in primary care or hospitalist medicine, be highly collaborative and able to lead teams.
