General Dermatology – Clinical Faculty (Chicago, Oak Brook and Oak Park)
Dermatopathologist/Clinical Dermatologist – Clinical Faculty (Chicago)
Mohs Surgeon – Clinical Faculty (Chicago)


Rush University Medical Center is seeking talented physicians to join our Division of Dermatology. Rush Dermatology serves a large, diverse patient population throughout the Chicagoland area. We have five clinical locations, including our Medical Center (main campus), River North, and South Loop locations in Downtown Chicago, as well as sites in Oak Brook and Oak Park, IL. As a regional and national leader in health care, Rush has a wide referral network to support our robust dermatology practices. 

We are seeking talented physicians to join our team for the following positions:

  • General Dermatologists: We are looking for full-time general dermatologists to join our faculty at Rush Oak Park Hospital and Rush University Medical Center, and a general dermatologist with an interest in cosmetic procedures to join the faculty at our new ambulatory center in Oak Brook, IL. Qualified candidates will have completed an ACGME-accredited dermatology residency and be board eligible or board certified by the American Board of Dermatology.

 

  • Dermatopathologist/Clinical Dermatologist: This candidate will work collaboratively with other seasoned dermatopathologists and clinicians at Rush University Medical Center. Qualified candidates will have completed an ACGME-accredited dermatology residency and be board eligible or board certified by the American Board of Dermatology. The opportunity to develop an ACGME-accredited dermatopathology fellowship will be supported.

 

  •  Mohs Surgeon: The full-time Mohs Surgeon will join the Rush University Medical Center team as the Director of Dermatological Surgery. Qualified candidates will have completed an ACGME-accredited dermatology residency and an ACMS-approved fellowship. The successful candidate will lead a growing surgery practice and have the opportunity to work collaboratively with clinical leaders in ENT, medical oncology, plastic surgery and surgical oncology. The candidate will lead the relocation of Dermatological Surgery to the new Joan and Paul Rubschlager Building, a state-of-the-art destination center for cancer and neuroscience care, slated to open in 2023. 

Rush Dermatology faculty foster a collaborative atmosphere with clinical expertise in areas, such as autoimmune bullous disease, cosmetic dermatology, cutaneous lymphoma, hair loss, hidradenitis, oncodermatology, pigmentary disorders and vasculitis. Candidates will be expected to provide clinical care and will actively participate in the team’s academic programs, including teaching of Dermatology residents and medical students and participation in grand rounds. Clinical research opportunities, multidisciplinary conferences, regular academic sessions with invited speakers and faculty promotions are available. Candidates will have a faculty rank commensurate with experience. Competitive salary and benefits package available.
