Denver Health Hand Microvascular Surgeon
The Department of Orthopedics at Denver Health is recruiting for a full-time Hand, Upper Extremity, and Microvascular Surgeon. The Hand and Microvascular Service at Denver Health covers the entire spectrum of elective hand practice in addition to complex upper extremity trauma including microvascular flap coverage of the extremities and replantation. The practice population includes children and adults with a spectrum of conditions including tendinopathy, compressive neuropathy, congenital diagnoses, degenerative arthritis, sports-related injuries, bony and soft tissue tumors, brachial plexus injuries, and post-traumatic pathologies from the upper arm to the fingertips. The service staffs the regional 24/7 replantation call covering the greater Rocky Mountain region. The Hand and Microvascular service is academically productive in research and supports a microsurgical laboratory offering ongoing surgical specialty courses. The Denver Health Hand Team partners closely with the University of Colorado Hand Fellowship Program and is plays an integral role in the academic curriculum and residency/fellowship training.
