The National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS) transforms translational research from an empirical process into a predictive science. Such advances will allow new treatments and cures for disease to be developed and delivered to patients faster. The NCATS Director is responsible for the overall executive direction and scientific leadership of the Center, including strategic planning and implementation, policy development and execution, program planning, and allocation of staff and physical and financial resources.

The successful candidate for this position will be appointed at a salary commensurate with experience and accomplishments, and full Federal benefits, including leave, health and life insurance, retirement and savings plan (401K equivalent) will be provided. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be available, and relocation expenses may be paid. In accordance with Executive Order 14043, Federal employees are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
