Midlands Orthopaedics and Neurosurgery, PA is seeking a neurosurgeon who is energized by private practice and focused on advancing spine surgery in an ASC setting to replace a physician retiring in the summer of 2022.
Midlands Orthopaedics & Neurosurgery is the only private practice physician group providing neurosurgical, orthopaedic and pain management services in the Midlands of South Carolina. We are focused on growing our spine and pain management programs. To date, we have performed over 1,000 advanced outpatient spine procedures to include lumbar fusion in our ASC. Overnight stay is available as needed to accommodate increasingly advanced spine care. We strive to be a low-cost leader while also excelling in innovation and quality as evidence by the ASC’s designation as a Blue Distinction+ Center for Spine Surgery.
Strong collegiality among physicians, combined with an entrepreneurial and fiercely independent spirit, provides rich practice opportunities. Physicians are provided tremendous flexibility in crafting their practices to leverage their specific interests and goals. Neurosurgeons cover non-trauma ED call at Prisma Health Baptist Medical Center with physician assistant support.
We are committed to improving overall musculoskeletal and neurological health and quality of life for our patients in a private practice setting. 18 physicians include 3 neurosurgeons, 12 sub-specialty trained orthopaedic surgeons, 1 family practice sports medicine physician and 2 pain management physicians. Four practice locations are supplemented by ancillary services that include MRI, DXA, DME, Physical & Occupational Therapy and an Ambulatory Surgery Center with 4 OR suites and 1 procedure room.
Office Hours & Schedul- Practice clinic hours: 8:30 am – 5:00pm M-Th; half day on Fridays. 20-25 office visits per day; 2-2.5 days per week

Compensation Model- $500,000 base annual salary with bonus formula based on net collections
