The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Florida College of Medicine is currently recruiting a full-time physician for the Division of Academic Specialists in General Obstetrics and Gynecology.

  • Direct clinical care and research, as well as teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.
  • The ability to apply creativity to program growth and development in service of these missions is highly desirable, as is the ability to work collaboratively.
  • Candidates should be comfortable in providing a broad spectrum of obstetrical and gynecologic care, including gynecologic surgery, to medically complex patients.
  • Focus areas of special interest in women s health care are encouraged and supported.

As a member of a dedicated team, you will provide care as an obstetrician/gynecologist at UF Health Shands Hospital (the #1 ranked hospital in Florida by US News and World Reports), see patients at various clinics, work on Labor and Delivery, and perform major and minor gynecologic surgeries. You also will share responsibility for rotating night and weekend call which includes coverage of Labor and Delivery and gynecologic emergencies.
