The University of Colorado School of Medicine seeks an outstanding leader and manager to serve as the Executive Vice Chairperson (EVC) to the Chair of Medicine. This individual will help craft and execute the strategic, clinical, operational and academic priorities and acts as a key liaison with internal and external partners. The EVC provides executive oversight of the core Department of Medicine missions, overseeing the development, implementation and sustainment of core Department of Medicine positions, priorities, and programs.

The ideal candidate will hold the degree of MD, be board-certified in an internal medicine specialty, and possess leadership and managerial experience in a comparable academic or healthcare setting according to the details in the job posting.  The Executive Vice Chairperson reports directly to the Chair of the Department of Medicine.
