The University of Wisconsin Division of Hospital Medicine is seeking the best physicians to join our amazing multidisciplinary team of 80 expert generalists.
UW hospitalists work with nationally known physicians on the leading edge of healthcare policy. We offer a flexible schedule with opportunities to teach the next generation of physicians.
With strong clinical support from advanced practice providers, we oversee admissions for most medical subspecialties, lead a 24/7 acute care hospital medicine service and consult service, attend on the flagship teaching service for medical students and residents, and perform bedside procedures.
We also have ample opportunities to participate in clinical research, as shown by two recent New England Journal of Medicine articles demonstrating our leadership in a trial for noncritically ill and critically ill patients with COVID-19.
What’s more, our hospitalists are part of a department guided by core values of innovation, health equity, kindness, professional fulfillment and impact in Wisconsin and beyond.
Finally, our work takes place on the vibrant, inclusive UW-Madison campus and in the wonderful city of Madison, recently ranked the #1 place to live in America.
