Physician- Radiation Oncology

SSM Health Medical Group is recruiting a full-time board-eligible or board-certified radiation oncologist to join our group of 4 radiation oncologists within SSM Health starting in 2022. This position is located within the St. Louis metropolitan region.

Candidates must have completed their residency in an ACGME-accredited radiation oncology program and/or fellowship in an accredited US training program, be eligible for Missouri medical licensure and have a track record of excellence in clinical care. Candidates must be highly motivated and possess exceptional clinical and interpersonal skills as the sole radiation oncologist on site. Additionally, candidates must work well in collaboration with our physician colleagues within the medical group and our radiation staff (nurse, physicist, radiation therapist, and dosimetrist).

The radiation oncologist will be expected to utilize all radiation modalities including IMRT, SRS, and SBRT while working with a multi-disciplinary team managing adult malignancies. Experience in LDR and HDR brachytherapy including vascular is encouraged but not required.

Current equipment within SSM Health includes Varian TrueBeam linacs, CyberKnife, Philips CT simulator with wide bore and 4D capability, Nucletron HDR remote after loader, Eclipse, ARIA, and Epic EMR. Treatment procedures include all conventional radiation therapy, LDR and HDR brachytherapy, SBRT, and SRS.
