Kaiser Permanente-Washington Permanente Medical Group is seeking a Part Time 0.6 FTE Nephrology Physician to join our Capitol Hill Campus team in Seattle, Washington.

The KPWA Nephrology department is comprised of a well-established and experienced team of thirteen Nephrologists, a Pharmacist, RNs, MAs, and an administrative assistant working together in a collegial environment. Our dedicated nurses and support team work along with the physicians to provide comprehensive care to patients from pre-dialysis education on treatment options, transplant education, dialysis support, and referrals in coordination with our dialysis center providers, and assist with coordinating care with our vascular access partners in interventional radiology and surgery. A team of ARNPs rounds on our dialysis patients quarterly in the treatment center.
The KPWA Nephrologist provides consultation and manages patients with a full spectrum of kidney diseases including acute kidney injury, dialysis, post-transplant, acute and chronic glomerulonephritis, complex hypertension, and electrolyte disorders in the inpatient and outpatient setting. We also provide virtual or E Consult services to our colleagues in primary care or other surgical and medical specialties. Our dialysis patients are seen monthly in the office. Our practice model is based in population management and providing the best and up-to-date care that is evidence-based and cost-effective in discussion with patients and their families. Our department is also the proud recipient of the 2017 WPMG Annual Team Excellence Award recognizing us for our population management program.
Capitol Hill Campus is a multispecialty medical center. Lab, Radiology, and Pharmacy on site. Office hours are 8 am - 5 pm Monday through Friday, with Urgent Care open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
