Excellent opportunities exist for full-time and part-time (30hrs/week) Gastroenterologists at the Redding VA Outpatient Clinic. Incumbents will perform outpatient GI consultations, colonoscopy and endoscopy procedures. No overnight or weekend call. Alternative work schedule may be available. Soon moving into a brand new facility which can accommodate growth in primary care, mental health and existing specialty service such as gastroenterology and more telemedicine rooms for new specialty services including allergy and immunology, nephrology and rheumatology. Join this dynamic team and support the expansion of specialty services offered to our Veterans at this rural location.

Candidate MUST: 1) be a US citizen or PRA (Non-citizens may be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with [38 U.S.C. 7407(a)]; 2) possess a current, full, unrestricted medical license in any state, and 3) be Board Prepared/Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.

Benefits (pro-rated for PT): 26 days paid vacation (1 day accrued each pay period upon employment); 13 days sick leave (1/2 day accrued each pay period upon employment, no cap); 10 paid Federal holidays/Competitive Salary/Malpractice protection with tail coverage covered by the Federal government/Annual Physician Performance Pay (Up to $15,000 possible)/CME- 1 week paid authorized absence to attend and after 1 year of employment $1,000 per year stipend toward CME if BC/No Physician Employment Contract and no significant restriction on moonlighting
