Orthopedic Hospitalist Surgery Physician Opportunity – Rio Rancho, NM

Presbyterian Healthcare Services, a locally owned, not-for-profit healthcare system in New Mexico, is seeking a BE/BC Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in general orthopedics to join our growing team of exceptional clinicians and staff in Rio Rancho, New Mexico.

What We’re Seeking:

  • This role is for a well-rounded and qualified orthopedic surgeon looking to have nights and weekends off
  • This position is an orthopedic hospitalist role in which the physician will provide daytime hospital call coverage for Rust Medical Center - a 198 bed hospital
  • Provider must be proficient in fracture care, including the management of periprosthetic fractures
  • Ability to perform general orthopedic procedures, total joints and revisions, adult reconstruction, and standard orthopedic trauma.
  • Outstanding patient care qualities, highly motivated with an interest to grow their practice
  • Patient-focused and willing to collaborate and work in a team environment
  • Ability to obtain a medical license to practice in the state of New Mexico 

 Practice Highlights

  • Expected work schedule is Monday-Friday 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. covering all day time orthopedic hospital call at Rust Medical Center
