We proudly provide compassionate, high-quality healthcare throughout the Greater Philadelphia region, and have gained a reputation for excellence and innovation. The Department of Orthopedics has 7 orthopedics surgeons offering the gamut of service including foot & ankle, spine, sports, adult reconstruction, trauma, hand, and sports medicine. The Orthopedic residency consists of 11 ACGME accredited residents (PGY1 -5). Einstein Medical Center Philadelphia provides training at all levels from visiting medical students to residents as well as continuing medical education. We service 32 ACGME accredited programs and 450+ residents and fellows and are the argest independent acadmic institution in Philadelphia. The Orthopedic team is seeking a fellowship trained orthopedic spine surgeon due to a pending retirement. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • MD or DO From an Accredited Program
  • Completion of an Accredited Orthopedic Residency
  • Completion of a Spine Fellowship
  • 1-3 years experience in Spine
  • BE/BC ABOS
  • Ability to Obtain a PA & DEA License

THE POSITION

  • Join 17 Physicians and 11 PAs and 15 Techs in The Department
  • 2 Dedicated Spine Surgeons
  • Current Spine Surgeon Retiring
  • Position  Available Immediately
  • 25 PPD, Call will be 1:3
  • Over 4500 Cases Completed Last Year in the Department, with Over 40,000 Active Patients 
  • Section Administratively Supported
  • The Position is 100% Spine + General Call
  • Teach - Orthopedic Residency (11 Residents)
  • Web Based PACS
  • Position Will be Based Out of Philadelphia Campus
  • Cerner EMR
  • Complete Compliment of Spine Equipment
