Dignity Health Medical Group - Arizona is actively seeking a highly patient-centric, Academic IM/FM Geriatric Physician to support our clinics in Chandler, AZ.

  • 100% outpatient
  • 40% Clinical, 40% Teaching, 20% Admin
  • Precepting required
  • Opportunity for academic appointment through Creighton University
  • Chance to help build a state-of-the-art outpatient center and Residency Program from the ground, up
  • Be willing to mentor residents in various settings including outpatient centers and extended care facilities
  • Develop a geriatric evaluation program in combination with various physical therapists and social workers in our system

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • MD or DO Degree and Active Board Certification in Geriatrics (prefer IM but will consider FM)
  • Must have or be eligible for Arizona State medical licensure
  • Completed ACGME Residency training with current ABMS Board Certification
  • Must have previous Academic Medicine/GME experience working with medical students and/or resident physicians
  • Is a team-oriented provider that is passionate about making the healing presence of God known in our world by improving the health of the people we serve, especially those who are vulnerable, while we advance social justice for all
