Medical Director - Physician Pediatric Palliative Care and Complex Care
Mary Bridge Children s is providing the only Pediatric Complex Primary Care program in Washington State through a specialized family-centered care coordination model. This program serves children with three or more affected organ systems, sees three or more Specialists, and their families. Optimizing and expanding Complex Care is a strategic focus area to advance population health at Mary Bridge Children s.
We are searching for a Medical Director/Physician who will assist in leading these innovative programs, providing Palliative Care services (.6 FTE), Complex Primary Care (.3 FTE), and outreach and education (.1 FTE). This physician will partner with the Nurse Coordinator, Palliative Care and Complex Care, to provide Palliative Care services.
The Complex Primary Care service is made up of two established physicians, Nurse Coordinator, Clinic RN, RN Care Manager, Care Coordination Assistant, and LPN/MA. The entire team is committed and passionate about providing family-centered care that is focused on what this population needs: easy access, care coordination, and comprehensive care. In providing comprehensive care, the team partners with the patients, families, specialists, hospital teams, as well as the community.

Board certified/eligible in Pediatrics. This could include experience as a pediatric and/or hospitalist.
Palliative Care requirements: Must have one of the following board certification, fellowship training, certification, training, and/or experience.
Licensed in the state of WA by the time of employment
DEA, NPI & prescriptive authority
Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association
