Great opportunity for an academic dermatopathologist:

The Department of Dermatology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine seeks a full-time non-tenure-eligible dermatopathology Clinician-Educator at the rank of Instructor, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor.  Responsibilities include dermatopathology routine sign out and sign out of second opinion consultation cases.  Those applicants with a background in clinical dermatology will also have the opportunity to participate in clinical care of patients in the Northwestern dermatology clinics.  All applicants will be involved in, teaching and participation in scholarly activity. We are seeking full-time academic dermatopathologists who are interested in signing out in an academically stimulating environment.  The opportunity involves mentorship for senior dermatopathologists, Pedram Gerami and Joan Guitart and the opportunity to develop and academic area of focus and expertise.  Sign out sessions will involve teaching of residents and fellows as well.   

Qualified candidates will be ACGME BE/BC in dermatopathology, and able to be licensed in Illinois. They must be able to qualify for academic appointment at Northwestern University at Clinical Instructor or greater. 

The start date is negotiable and the position will remain open until filled.
