SEEKING 2 STAFF PHYSICIANS – General Internal Medicine

ONE FULL TIME(1.0FTE) PHYSICIAN & ONE PART TIME (.5FTE) PHYSICIAN

General Description

A board certified or board eligible Internal Medicine physician providing outpatient evaluation, diagnosis and treatment to Scripps Clinic patients, representing the highest standards for clinical capability, professional education, quality improvement and overall patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provides clinical care and management
• Provides for the coordination and evaluation of ancillary tests and procedures
• Accurate, complete and timely documentation using the electronic medical record
• Participates in departmental clinical care quality assurance activities
• Takes night call and shares other duties as determined by the Vice President, Ambulatory Care or Department Chair or Division Head
• Maintains professional education
• Participates in clinical program development
• Strives to achieve the Scripps Clinic Quadruple Aim
