Shareholder Track Physician- 2022 General GI plus NMDC Focus
MNGI Digestive Health is expanding and currently looking for talented, patient-focused gastroenterologists to join our practice and help us to expand our NMDC service line.
With MNGI’s nationally recognized and innovative approach to care delivery, we have a growing demand for our specialty care and services. We are located in the thriving Twin Cities Metro Area of Minneapolis and St. Paul and provide care to patients from throughout the Upper Midwest.
As a MNGI gastroenterologist, you can enjoy the benefits of a highly efficient practice and administrative support, while having personal relationships and the feeling of a smaller practice. In addition to regular outpatient clinics, MNGI has developed comprehensive, multidisciplinary programs to address the unique needs of patients.
Established in 2012, the Neurogastroenterology and Motility Disorders Clinic (NMDC) offers a collaborative approach to the evaluation and treatment of functional disorders, such as irritable bowel syndrome and functional dyspepsia, as well as motility disorders, such as gastroparesis and pelvic floor dysfunction. The subspecialty program is staffed by gastroenterologists and advance practice providers (PAs and NPs), all of whom have special interest and training in Neurogastroenterology and motility disorders, and work together with a team approach to patient care. The NMDC program continues to grow and offers pelvic floor testing, SmartPill motility capsule testing, pyloric botox therapy, enteral therapy or TPN, placement and chronic management of gastric pacers such as Enterra, and access to other new therapies and emerging medications.
MNGI has an organizational commitment to invest and grow the NMDC program and care team. NMDC physicians have a voice in strengthening the program with opportunity for a leadership role. Support will be provided from a broader care team of NMDC focused providers and subspecialty focus group to confer on patient care, discuss diagnosis, emerging treatments, disease management, and to share resources and training opportunities. NMDC physicians will also have access to internal support services for patients, including behavioral health professionals, registered dietitians, a clinical research department, and more. Yearly motility conferences will also be available for NMDC physicians along with the ability to provide academic support for Residents and Fellows in GI. At MNGI, NMDC physicians can expect an overall professionally satisfying career with rewarding outcomes and grateful patients with an improved quality of life.
