HONORHEALTH – New Regional Medical Director Vascular Surgery
The HonorHealth Heart and Vascular Institute is seeking a Regional Medical Director Vascular Surgery to support the growth in the Vascular footprint in the region. The Regional Medical Director will provide programmatic oversight and be a part of a strategic leadership team to expand scope of services offered. Qualified candidates should have at least 7 years’ experience and demonstrated leadership capabilities. HonorHealth is a multi-hospital system in the Scottsdale/North Phoenix and Central Phoenix regions of the metro area. The Regional Medical Director will assess scope of services offered at the multi-hospital system and work with the team to establish coverage models.
Vascular Surgeons with expertise in Complex Vascular cases will enjoy a busy practice of both Complex and Bread and Butter Vascular Surgery cases. This position is part of the HonorHealth hospital-employed medical group. The newly remodeled out-patient clinic will have a new Vascular lab in office. Vascular Surgeons have immediate access to a state-of-the-art Hybrid OR for Endovascular procedures. This is a unique opportunity to truly change the landscape of the Phoenix market, which has a population of over 4 million and minimal access to vascular services. HonorHealth is a six-hospital, non-profit health system located in the greater Phoenix Metro/Scottsdale area. The Vascular Surgeon will be anchored at one hospital for majority of services and be on call for neighboring hospitals 7 days a month. The Vascular Surgeons have a built-in referral base from HonorHealth Medical Group, which has over 200 primary care providers – the largest primary care network in Arizona!

- Outpatient Clinic on Hospital Campus with Largest Hybrid OR Room in the system with plenty of block time.
- Brand New Outpatient Office opening November 2021 with Vascular Lab + Tech 5 days/week.
- Typical Week = 2 days OR, 2 days Clinic, and 1 day Admin/Add-on cases.
- High Guaranteed Base Salary + Bonus and Productivity Incentives.
