MUSC Health - Florence Medical Center is seeking a BC/BE General Orthopedic Surgeon to join a well-established and award-winning Orthopedics program in Florence, South Carolina. This opportunity provides superior support from divisional orthopedic partners and MUSC s Department of Orthopedics. As a partner and collaborator with our academic medical center, you ll have access to advanced technologies such as specialty and sub-specialty diagnostic support, and direct affiliation with clinical centers of excellence. Join two other Orthopedic Surgeons, and a dedicated support staff committed to providing exceptional care to patients in Florence, SC, and the surrounding communities. Ideal candidates will have experience with hip or total joint orthopedic surgery.
About this position:
- Candidates must be Board Certified/Board Eligible
- Regional acute care facility with a Level III trauma center
- 1:4 call
- Seeking surgeons with experience in general orthopedics, trauma, hips or total joint
- Plenty of OR block time available
- Robust support staff
- An excellent orthopedics floor which includes a dedicated exercise area
- Service area population of 250,000
