Michigan Medicine is seeking academic geriatricians to join our successful practice in Ann Arbor, Michigan. This clinical faculty position is a unique opportunity to join any of our various service lines, including primary care in outpatient geriatric clinics, inpatient consults, long term care, PACE, ACE, post-acute care, as well as potential participation within innovative models of community and home-based care -- all dedicated to providing outstanding care to older adults. This position also provides the opportunity to engage in clinically oriented scholarly activity and teaching as part of an academic faculty appointment on the Clinical Track at the University of Michigan Medical School, where participation in educational activities, weekly educational conferences, and faculty development is encouraged among a collegial faculty.

The ideal candidate will be board certified in Internal Medicine, have successfully completed an ACGME accredited Geriatric Medicine Fellowship program, and have experience in Geriatric Medicine or caring for older adults. They should hold or have the ability to obtain the appropriate medical licenses in the State of Michigan. Candidates should be able to collaborate effectively with other clinicians and interprofessional team members. Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential. Evidence of clinical competence and experience teaching in a clinical and didactic setting is expected.
