University Hospitals (UH) Harrington Heart and Vascular Institute (HVI) in Cleveland OH, is seeking a Director for the Coronary Care Unit. This unique opportunity is for a recognized clinician and researcher who will be responsible for the oversight and coordination of activities in the Coronary Care and Step-Down Units at the University Hospitals (UH) Cleveland Medical Center, the system's 1,032-bed flagship tertiary-care hospital.  In this capacity, the Director will work collaboratively with leadership across the HVI and UH system in transforming access and care for patients across the system with critical care needs.

Overarching responsibilities will include establishing new pathways and paradigms of critical care that emphasizes value for the health system, bringing novel approaches for treatment of acutely ill cardiovascular patients, re-energizing research, collaboration and training of future leaders in critical care cardiology. The ideal candidate are expected to be at the Assistant Professor level for appointment  with the Case Western Reserve School of Medicine and exhibit exemplary clinical skills and interest/experience in critical care cardiology.

UH CMC is home to world class clinical programs in advanced heart failure, advanced imaging (CT/MR), interventional/structural and arrhythmia services. Successful candidates are expected to be at the Assistant Professor/Associate Professor level for appointment with the Case Western Reserve School of Medicine.
