Children's National Medical Center seeks a transformational physician leader responsible for the direction, management, and development of the Division of Otolaryngology. The candidate will have successfully completed a fellowship in Pediatric Otolaryngology with prior experience at the supervisory and professor level preferred. The newly appointed chief will not only be responsible for enhancing the provision and coordination of world-class inpatient and outpatient clinical care but will have the opportunity to foster cutting edge research, programmatic development, and demonstrate the skills to propel the Division to new heights.

Children’s National Hospital, located in the Washington, DC, metro area near our national capital, has been serving the nation’s children since 1870 and for five years in a row, has been named one of the top 10 pediatric hospitals in the nation by U.S. News & World Report. Children’s National is the premiere provider of pediatric services in the area and offers state of the art technology in our 17 OR suites and two outpatient surgery sites in Montgomery County, Maryland, and Northern Virginia. Patients are seen at regional outpatient centers and multidisciplinary clinics in the DC/Metropolitan area.

The Pediatric Otolaryngology Division hosts a certified fellowship training program in Pediatric Otolaryngology and trains residents from George Washington University, Military Consortium, and Georgetown University. Children’s National is one of only twelve children’s hospitals in the country to attain Level 1 Surgery Verification from the American College of Surgeons.
