St. Joseph s Health is a regional non-profit health care system based in Syracuse, New York. Syracuse is located in Central New York about 87 miles east of Rochester. It's the halfway point between New York City and Toronto and is the economic and educational hub of the area. The city is known as the gateway to the scenic Finger Lakes, and there are several state parks, hiking trails and waterfalls to enjoy nearby. Syracuse is home to the Erie Canal Museum, the Milton J. Major research universities include the private Syracuse University, which offers 18 varsity sports programs, the State University of New York Upstate Medical University and the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry.
