Mount Sinai South Nassau Hospital is currently seeking a full-time pediatric hospitalist to join its hospital on Long Island!

The hospital is located at One Healthy Way, Oceanside, NY 11572 in a diverse community with excellent school districts and numerous cultural activities. Mount Sinai South Nassau Hospital is part of the Mount Sinai Health Care System and has been developing and expanding pediatric services. Our Hospitalists are responsible for the care of pediatric patients on the floor. They also provide coverage for the delivery room, nursery and [Level II] NICU along with our full time neonatologists (4). They supervise residents and medical students and are an important component of our educational program.

As a Pediatric Hospitalist, you will be joining three (3) full time and three (3) per diem associates. Three (3) [12-hour] shifts are considered full time and are split between days and nights, weekdays and weekends. Outpatient sessions are available. Hospitalists have teaching responsibilities for residents and students. Research opportunities available, if desired. No administrative duties are required. Position Qualifications:
Medical Degree from an Accredited University
New York Medical License
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Pediatrics
Committed to South Nassau and Mount Sinai and the communities we serve
Excellent communication, bedside manner, and organizational skills
A strong work ethic and desire to participate in a team-oriented, performance-driven Health System
