FACULTY OPPORTUNITY: Infectious Diseases Clinician Educator

Location: New York, NY

The Division of Infectious Diseases and Immunology, in the Department of Medicine, is seeking full time Clinician Educators at the Instructor, Assistant or Associate level.

The candidates will provide inpatient and outpatient clinical services in the diagnosis and treatment of infectious diseases at our primary clinical locations: NYU Langone Medical Center, NYU Langone Hospital – Brooklyn, the Manhattan VA Medical Center and Bellevue Hospital Center. Teaching responsibilities include precepting and mentorship of fellows, residents and medical students.

We are looking for dynamic faculty candidates with excellent clinical and interpersonal skills with additional consideration given to those with the following experience and/or training:

  • Healthcare epidemiology and infection prevention and control
  • HIV medicine
  • Clinical services leadership

Qualifications

Required qualifications include Board Certification or Eligibility in Infectious Diseases.

Preferred candidates would have significant clinical and academic experience in HIV medicine, healthcare epidemiology/infection prevention and control and leadership.
