1 license/50 States - 49 days paid time off annually - No Overhead or Insurance Company’s to deal with! Practice Pure Medicine

   As a VA Radiologist possibilities’ are endless! Seeking a Radiologist to provide the most effective delivery of patient care services throughout the Beckley VA Medical Center. 

Major Responsibilities

  • Seeking Staff radiologist that can read and interrupt most modalities
  • We are solely100% filmless D.R.
  • Ultrasounds are 1 and 2 years old respectively from GE Logic E10’s   
  • Just received a new small unit from Toshiba for prostate biopsies
  • Philips DR rooms
  • CT scanner inbound that will allow us to do Coronary CTA. We do not do biopsies

Tour of Duty: Big advantage of what we offer is No holidays, No Weekends, and No call. Our after-hours reading service handles all other hours. Working Hours 8-430 Monday through Friday.

  The radiologist will read 90% of the time with a few mandatory meetings to attend. One being the required medical staff meeting Friday at 8am. Outside of this the radiologist would be required to give two presentations per year on any topic of their choosing to the rest of the medical staff which must be related to healthcare. We also have a tumor board meeting that requires a radiologist to attend.

  Production goals for radiologist are 6200 RVU’s per year. We have a total of 23 employees’ in the Radiology Service Line with an additional 2 dedicated radiology scheduling clerks.

   Veteran Affairs Physicians practice medicine more and spend less time on business tasks. Requirements:

  • U.S. Citizen
  • Board certified/board eligible Radiologist
  • Full unrestricted MD.DO license (practice with any current and unrestricted state license).  

Preferred Candidate: Radiologist with recent/relevant experience who is energetic, intelligent, professional who interacts well with Veterans and staff.
