Description

The Department of Ophthalmology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in either the non-tenure clinician educator track or the tenure track.

Teaching responsibilities may include teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.

Clinical responsibilities may include patient care dedicated to the candidate's ophthalmic subspecialty.

Research or scholarship responsibilities may include establishment of basic, clinical, and/or translational research with potential for K12 funding.

Qualifications

Expertise is required in the specific area of the field of Ophthalmology. The successful candidate must have demonstrated excellent qualifications in education, research, and clinical care.

Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree.

Candidates must have completed 3 years of ophthalmology residency and at least 1 year of fellowship in an ophthalmic subspecialty.
