The University of Michigan is seeking candidates for the position of Chief of the Division of Colorectal Surgery. The Division has 5 board-certified colon and rectal surgeons and 2 Advanced Practice Providers engaged in a broad and busy practice including colorectal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, anorectal surgery and the full range of colon and rectal surgery. The faculty perform over 1200 operations per year, and have significant academic and scholarly pursuits, including externally funded research.

The Department of Surgery at the University of Michigan is nationally recognized for excellence in patient care, education, and research. Our group practice focuses on providing high quality, compassionate surgical care.

Applicants must be board eligible or certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery. Requirements include completion of an ACGME-accredited residency in Colon and Rectal Surgery, and a track record of academic excellence, with experience in leadership positions involving resource management, mentorship and education.
