Saint Alphonsus Medical Center Baker City and Saint Alphonsus Medical Group have an excellent full time employment opportunity for an experienced Orthopedic Surgeon to provide comprehensive orthopedic services in rural Baker City, Oregon.

The qualified candidate will exude a passion for providing general orthopedics in a rural community and demonstrate evidence of comprehensive assessment skills, expert clinical skills, and problem-solving capabilities.

The schedule for this opportunity is a traditional clinic workweek, Monday through Friday, with a minimum of 34 hours of scheduled patient contact time. This opportunity includes general orthopedic ED call.

Requirements for this opportunity include: a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of

Osteopathy (DO) degree; Board Certification through the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery (ABOS) or obtain certification within three years of employment; obtain Idaho and Oregon medical licensure and granting of privileges at SAMC Baker City and other health system affiliated hospitals, as needed; valid controlled substance registration with Board of Pharmacy and Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA).
