Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences announces a new Urban Global Health Scholars Program. Please share with students, residents and colleagues.

Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School Department of Gynecology, Obstetrics and Reproductive Sciences in New Brunswick, New Jersey is accepting applications for the Urban Global Health Scholars Program to start July 2020. This is a 2-year postgraduate training program addressing women s health issues in low and middle-income countries (LMIC) and urban centers within the United States, integrating clinical care and training, research and global health program design and implementation. Graduate education leading to a Master of Public Health degree (MPH) will be awarded with the successful completion of the fellowship.

Applicants will have graduated from an accredited OBGYN residency program. The fellow will be appointed as an instructor in the department and will have responsibilities teaching and managing general obstetric and gynecologic patients, in addition to their urban global health responsibilities.

Applicants should respond via email with a CV and letters of reference, one of which should be from their residency program director. Additionally, they should submit a one-page statement of interest, which should include a summary of past urban/global experience and a vision as to how the fellowship will fit in with their long-term career goals.
