Job Summary:

The Department of Ophthalmology at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas is seeking an outstanding Glaucoma/Comprehensive Ophthalmologist for a position as Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor. Candidates should have a MD degree and be board certified or board eligible in ophthalmology, fellowship-trained in glaucoma, and be eligible for medical licensure in the state of Texas. Interests should be glaucoma and comprehensive ophthalmology. Applications from new or established clinician educators are encouraged as well as those with resident supervision experience.

The position will entail 50% responsibilities in staffing residents at Fort Worth (Tarrant County) public hospital where four residents rotate, as the Associate Chief of Service at John Peter Smith Hospital, and 50% effort at our established faculty practice satellite office.

Salary: Salary Negotiable

Security: This position is security-sensitive and subject to Texas Education Code 51.215, which authorizes UT Southwestern to obtain criminal history record information
