Pulmonary Medicine Opportunity
Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) and the Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center (SARMC) have an excellent employment opportunity for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Pulmonary Medicine physician to join a clinic-based practice located in Boise, Idaho.
Saint Alphonsus Medical Group is a 500+ provider multispecialty group practice with a multi-disciplinary team approach to patient care. This practice is a robust, two-hospital ICU and outpatient practice, providing services for a full spectrum of complex, critically ill patients at the tertiary Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center (SARMC) Boise, the community Saint Alphonsus Medical Center Nampa, and at the SAMG Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine outpatient clinics in both Boise & Nampa. SARMC is the principal provider of advanced, innovative and interdisciplinary critical care services within the region.
Requirements include a strong internal medicine/pulmonary background, a sincere desire to manage the treatment of complex patients, collaborative relationship with other specialists, and a high quality outpatient clinic encompassing all aspects of pulmonary medicine.
Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise has a 22-bed Med/Surg ICU, a 10-bed cardiac ICU, and a 10-bed Cardiovascular/Thoracic ICU, and provides Trauma, Cardiothoracic & Vascular Surgery, Neurosurgery, Interventional Cardiology, interventional stroke care, Oncology, and General Surgery services among others. Pulmonary diagnostic services include endobronchial ultrasound, navigational bronchoscopy, pulmonary function testing, and sleep diagnostics. Saint Alphonsus Medical Center in Nampa has an 18-bed ICU, providing all standard ICU procedures; therapeutic & diagnostic bronchoscopy.
The schedule for this opportunity is weekdays, 8:00 am 5:00 pm. There is no call associated with this opportunity.
Requirements of this opportunity include:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree.
- Successful completion of an accredited ACGME/AOA Internal Medicine residency program.
- Board certified or obtain certification within three years of employment.
- Obtain Idaho and Oregon medical licensure and granting of privileges at SARMC- Boise and other health system affiliated hospitals as needed.
- Valid controlled substance registration with Board of Pharmacy and DEA.
