Academic Dermatologist/Dermatopathologist

The NYU Grossman School of Medicine’s Ronald O. Perelman Department of Dermatology seeks to identify a full-time academic  dermatologist/dermatopathologist.  Successful candidates must be board certified in both dermatology and dermatopathology by the American Board of Dermatology.  The position offers a combination of diagnostic dermatopathology sign-out and resident and fellow education as well as clinical dermatology, with opportunity for academic inquiry. At least 3 years of post-training  experience in dermatopathology is strongly preferred.

The NYU Grossman School of Medicine’s Ronald O. Perelman Department of Dermatology has upheld a tradition of leadership and excellence that spans the history of dermatology in the United States.  Our education program provides dermatologic instruction for students of NYU Grossman School of Medicine, specialty training for residents and fellows at NYU Langone Health, Bellevue Hospital Center, and the Department of Veterans Affairs New York Harbor Health System-Manhattan Campus; and advanced training for experienced physicians through the NYU Department of Continuing Medical Education. The Department is a center for collaborative research addressing dermatologic disorders and cancers of the skin. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to join a leading program with a national reputation for teaching, research and state-of-the-art patient care.

Qualifications

Candidate must be a US citizen, board certified in Dermatology and Dermatopathology by the American Board of Dermatology, and hold a New York State license at the time of proposed employment.
