Mercy Health Physician Partners (MHPP) has an excellent full time employment opportunity for a Fellowship trained, Board Certified or Board Eligible Physiatrist to join our MHPP Neuroscience Specialists team in Muskegon, Michigan.

The team is a part of Hauenstein Neurosciences, the area s most well-established, comprehensive neuroscience program. From epilepsy, stroke and Parkinson s disease to sleep disorders and spine care, Mercy Health Hauenstein Neurosciences is able to treat a wide range of brain and nervous system conditions all with state-of-the-art technology featuring the latest techniques and a compassionate focus on healing the mind, body and spirit.

The selected candidate will work 2-3 days in clinic, one day EMG and 1-2 days intervention/spine (varies based on volume). This opportunity offers an exceptional quality of life for providers with no call, weekends or holidays.

Applicants must be Fellowship trained in Interventional Spinal Procedures and/or has completed an ACGME Pain Medicine Fellowship. Physicians must be Board Certified in their specialty within 5 years of completion of residency and dedicated to a mission of excellence in patient satisfaction and best clinical outcomes.

Our Spine Center of Excellence, led by Mercy Health physical medicine and spine specialists, uses a variety of treatments, including injections to determine pain generators, allowing our experts to provide patients with pain relief, improved function and higher quality of life. Any patient who has functional or mobility limitations can be referred.

Mercy Health Muskegon (MHM) is located on the shores of beautiful Lake Michigan and serves Muskegon, Ottawa, Oceana, and Newaygo County residents. MHM is a teaching hospital and the second largest health care organization in West Michigan. The system is the largest employer in Muskegon County, employing more than 4,000 associates.

MHM has an approximate 21,000 inpatient discharges and 137,000 emergency/urgent care visits annually. The organization employs 375 physicians and offers a number of exclusive specialty physician care services for the region.
